Cultural Enigma ❇2

Imagine a building made of three interlocking curved structures reminiscent of giant shells or sails. Site this building at the very tip of a peninsula in the middle of a bustling urban harbour. Inside it, house two well-appointed concert spaces and a restaurant. The building in question is the world-famous Sydney Opera House. The daring work of iconoclastic Danish architect Jorn Utzon, its innovative design and elaborate features took many years to complete. It opened to the public in 1973.
