I’ve never been a great dancer, but I’ve always loved disco, the dance craze of my youth. In the late 1970s, disco clubs were popping up everywhere. Every club had a DJ who’d spin the latest songs. There was always a new dance, like the hustle and the bump, and the signature beat of the bass and drums. That was the sound of disco. Colourful lights flashed from beneath the dance floor, and everyone was decked out in platform shoes and polyester. The scene was dynamite!
